Mangrove planting and rehabilitation activities aim to restore damaged mangrove areas, prevent coastal abrasion, protect coastal ecosystems, and increase public awareness of the importance of mangroves. Mangrove planting and rehabilitation is an activity that fully replaces the structure or functional characteristics of mangrove ecosystems that have been damaged or lost. The aim of this service is to replant lost mangroves, but also to raise public awareness about the importance of preserving coastal ecosystems. The method used in this activity is through stimulation of strengthening public awareness of mangrove planting and rehabilitation actions carried out in the form of Collaborative Action activities with a persuasive and andragogical approach model. The results of this community service activity are the creation of understanding and motivation as well as strengthening the community spirit regarding the importance of mangrove rehabilitation efforts in the coastal ecosystem of Suprau Village as a coastal green belt as well as the restoration of the existence of mangrove forests that once existed in order to prevent and mitigate coastal abrasion.
