Abstract

The landscape planning assistance program at Lubang Pantai Beach, Batu Lubang Bantai Village, Makbon District, Sorong Regency, aimed to formulate a development direction for the area that aligns with the natural potential and local wisdom. This beach boasts a unique geology, featuring a natural hole in the cliff, which is its main attraction, and preserved coastal vegetation. Through field observations and group discussions with the community, information was obtained regarding existing conditions, cultural values, and local aspirations for area development. The result is a landscape zoning plan that includes conservation, education, recreation, and support zones, which is expected to encourage sustainable community-based ecotourism management. A participatory approach in the planning process is key to ensuring the sustainability, local relevance, and social acceptance of the resulting design.
